Hi, I'm Maria and I am open to new opportunities as a Product Designer to create together great products that are not only amazing to look at, but also intuitive and useful to billions of users.
I've got over 8 years of experience in designing websites, mobile, desktop, and web applications. With over 4 years of experience as a product designer at Ivideon (since it was a startup), the biggest platform for cloud video monitoring and streaming with 3.5 million customers worldwide, I’m proficient in developing user-centered product design end-to-end: user research, user flows, interaction specifications, low- and high-fidelity mockups, prototypes, live UI tweaks while the product is being developed and after its initial launch.
At Ivideon, I produced hybrid UX and UI product designs and specifications of the web dashboard and the product website for B2B and B2C customers with attention to multi-language localization and international partnership; created full UX and UI specifications and oversaw from conception until launch a mobile app for public cameras (Ivigram); developed user experiences for the smart cameras and how users connect them to the cloud service; designed and maintained a modern brand style, icon sets, and UI component guidelines to be followed by designers and software engineers across products.
I've got experience solving broad problems and turning them into simple solutions and an aligned mission to build simple, valuable experiences. I’d love to apply my expertise in design and experience collaborating within product teams to help them build great products.
In my free time, I enjoy traveling and taking photos. I like to be a volunteer, help people and be useful, so now I work as a Graphic Designer Volunteer at Phase2Careers and San Mateo Adult School. I help them with designing flyers, postcards, web banners, and presentations; taking and retouching photos of events. Also, I have some hobbies such as painting, knitting, and roller skating.
